Dermatology first

Before being an aesthetic doctor, Dr. Arwa is a dermatologist. She holds a Master’s degree in Dermatology from Benha University and has more than 12 years of clinical experience. Every aesthetic plan is built on a healthy skin foundation, and many patients come to us for medical skin concerns alone.

Conditions we treat

  • Acne: from teenage breakouts to adult hormonal acne, with prescription treatments and in-clinic procedures.
  • Pigmentation and melasma: careful, stepwise plans suited to Middle Eastern skin and the UAE climate.
  • Eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis: calming flare-ups and building long-term control.
  • Rosacea and sensitive skin: reducing redness and triggers.
  • Warts, skin tags and moles: assessment and removal where appropriate.
  • Hair and nail conditions: including hair loss, dandruff and nail infections.

Aftercare

  1. Use prescribed treatments exactly as directed, even after skin improves.
  2. Bring a list of the products and medicines you currently use.
  3. Come back for follow-up so treatment can be adjusted.

Results vary from person to person. A medical consultation is required to confirm suitability.

Questions about Medical dermatology

When should I see a dermatologist instead of trying products?

See a dermatologist if a problem lasts more than a few weeks, is painful, is spreading, leaves marks or scars, or affects your confidence. Early treatment usually means faster and better results.

Can melasma be cured?

Melasma can be controlled very well, but it tends to come back with sun exposure and hormones. A combined plan of sun protection, prescription creams and in-clinic treatments gives the best long-term control.

Should I get a mole checked?

Yes, if a mole is new, changing in size, shape or colour, bleeding or itching, or looks different from your other moles. A quick dermatology check gives peace of mind.
