Yes. Every treatment starts with a medical consultation to understand your skin, your goals and your medical history. Sometimes the best advice is a different treatment, or no treatment at all.

That is the goal of every plan. Dr. Arwa takes a conservative, medical approach: precise doses, respect for your facial proportions and a review appointment, so you look refreshed rather than changed.

In the hands of a trained doctor and using approved products, treatments such as Botox and hyaluronic acid fillers have a very good safety record. A detailed knowledge of skin and facial anatomy, strict hygiene and an honest assessment of suitability are what keep treatments safe.

Most injectable and many in-clinic treatments are postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Safe medical skin care options are available, and Dr. Arwa will guide you.

Many treatments temporarily make skin more sensitive, and the UAE sun is strong all year round. Daily SPF 50, reapplied outdoors, protects your results and reduces the risk of pigmentation.

Bring a list of your medications and skincare products, and let us know about allergies or previous treatments. For injectables, avoid blood-thinning supplements such as fish oil or vitamin E for a few days beforehand, unless they were prescribed by your doctor.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed. This is one reason Dr. Arwa uses high-quality HA fillers.

Not with a conservative approach. We work with your natural lip shape and proportions and build gradually, so results look like a better-hydrated version of you.

Most swelling settles within 2–3 days, and lips can take up to a week. Plan treatments at least two weeks before important events.

Microneedling is generally suitable for all skin types, including darker skin, when performed with the right depth and aftercare. It carries a lower pigmentation risk than many lasers.

Yes, when the right peel and strength are chosen. Darker skin types have a higher risk of pigmentation after aggressive treatments, so Dr. Arwa often prepares the skin first and uses peels designed for your skin type.

Superficial peels often cause little or no visible peeling. Medium-depth peels cause several days of flaking, and we'll plan these around your schedule.

Common causes include genetics, hormonal changes, thyroid problems, iron or vitamin deficiency, stress and certain medications. That is why Dr. Arwa starts with a scalp examination and, when needed, blood tests.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is made from a small sample of your own blood. It is spun to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then injected into the scalp to support the hair follicles.
