What is Dermapen microneedling?
Dermapen is a medical microneedling device that creates thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. Your skin responds by producing new collagen and elastin, which gradually improves texture, scarring and firmness. The micro-channels also help active serums penetrate much deeper than they could on their own.
How it works
- The skin is cleansed and a numbing cream is applied.
- Dr. Arwa adjusts the needle depth for each area: deeper for scars, more superficial around the eyes.
- A calming or active serum is applied during and after treatment.
- Your skin keeps remodelling for up to three months after each session.
Aftercare
- No make-up for 24 hours. Use only the products we give you.
- Strict sun protection (SPF 50) for at least 2 weeks.
- Avoid retinoids, acids and scrubs for 5–7 days.
- Skip swimming pools, saunas and sweaty workouts for 48 hours.
